About Us
The Design Emporium is a sole agent and distributor of European and American Fabrics, Wall-coverings, Furniture, Lighting, Rugs & Carpets and Home Accessories. We handle Trade and Retail sales for the Middle-East and Africa. We have been established in the Egyptian market for 30 years. We are the sole agent for over 15 companies and have accounts with another 10. We are currently trading with outlets nationwide, as well as the top engineers and Interior Designers in the country. We are first and foremost a trade organisation, with the capacity to deal on an individual basis.
Our showroom displaying all our products is open Sunday- Thursday from 9am –6pm and Saturday 10am-6pm

Trade Service
+ Book Lending:
We offer catalogues, free of charge, for use at your showroom. Just come and visit us, and you can choose from a whole range of the companies we represent. We can supply “point of sales” materials at your request. The only condition for this service is that you compensate the costs of the catalogues with orders from the catalogues in the first three months of their use.
+ Showroom Display:
We already work with 30 exclusive distributors nationwide. We offer a unique service to showrooms and Interior Design centres, in the form of the “Showroom Design” service. Once an agreement has been made to work as one of our distributors, we can design and create a custom made area in your show--‐ room, for the display of our products. This includes; bookstands, catalogues, furniture, accessories, lighting, fabrics, hangers, throws and cuttings. We supply this service at cost price, to ensure that you have an efficient, creative working area. You can contact our Sales Team at any time to request help, advice or information.
+ Staff Training:
A unique scheme in Egypt, we can train staff for your outlet. The staff undergo a 3 hour training, in which they are trained as to the following:
