The Design Emporium is a sole agent and distributor of European and American Fabrics, Wall-coverings, Furniture, Lighting, Rugs & Carpets and Home Accessories since 1992. We have been established in the Egyptian market for over 30 years.

We are the sole agent for over 15 companies and have accounts with another 10. We are currently trading with over 15 outlets nationwide, as well as the top engineers and Interior Designers in the country. We are first and foremost a trade organisation, with the capacity to deal on an individual basis.

Our showroom displaying all our products is open Sunday- Thursday from 9am –6pm and Saturday 10am-6pm

1990’s

• British Embassy Residence Cairo

• British Military Attaché Residence Cairo

• Sun Boat 4: All fabrics were purchased directly from Designers Guild, and it was the first boat that was entirely furnished in Designers Guild Fabrics.

• Sherry Boat: The first printing of Monkwell fabrics under license in Egypt

• Katameya Heights clubhouse We supplied the lighting, public area signs,

• Conrad Hotel Maspiro The largest printing and weaving under license project; where companies such as Osborne & Little, Designers Guild, Monkwell, Beaumont & Fletcher and Watts of Westminster were specified. We obtained the license for Texmar to print and weave for the contract.

• Kahramana Hotel Sharm El Sheikh Monkwell fabrics and Fardis wallpaper. The fabrics were printed and woven by Texmar

• Holiday Inn Sharm El Sheikh they will accept bidding only from printing and weaving houses that are licensed by us to insure protection for any legal action & quality control. The tender was awarded to Texmar.

• Hayat Regency Sharm El Sheikh The printing and weaving of Donghia and Osborne & Little fabrics, awarded to Shatex.

• Kahramana Marsa Allam: A turnkey project with Monkwell and Brown & Rowan fabrics printed by Tex--‐ mar. We also supplied wallpaper, lighting, furniture, and accessories. The project also included fabrics from Designers Guild, Osborne & Little and Hill & Knowles.

• Gardinia Park: we coordinated the interiors of the first complete model show

2000’s

• Intercontinental Semiramis: We supplied the wallpaper for the whole renovation from Osborne & Little, Design Archives, Cole & Son, and Zoffany. We have been supplying the Intercontinental’s interior design needs since 1996.

• Gezirah Sporting Club: donated all interiors for the golf reception.

• Reef Oasis: Monkwell designs printed by Shatex

• Sunrise: Designers Guild designs printed by Texmar.

• Nesco: Monkwell designs printed by Texmar

• Rodan: Osborne & Little and Nina Campbell.

• Kahramana Laguna Vista : Awarded fabrics and manufacture of furnishings.

• Mexicana: Monkwell, Decortex and Hill & Knowles printed and woven in Egypt by Fatex

• Grand BeachSharm: Monkwell, Decortex and Hill & Knowles printed in Egypt by Fatex.

• Albatoros Hurghada: Presidential Villas – full interior design and supply.

• ALBATROS Sharm El Sheikh: Presidential suites full interior design and supply.

2010’s

• Horizon Hurghada: Manufacture of curtains and upholstery, supplied fabrics and designs from Wilman.

• Meridian Pyramids: The owners insisted on producing the designs legally and actually cancelled a contract with a printing house attempting to copy the fabrics illegally. The contract was eventually awarded to an authorised printing house to manufacture designs from Nina Campbell and Osborne & Little.

• Hyatt Regency Imported fabrics for the public areas, royal suites of the New Meridian and the renovation of the old Meridian. We have dealt with over 60 companies in Europe and the US for this project.

• We re‐specified over 100 fabrics and coordinated between over 80 companies

• Four Season Stan Stefano: Supplied wallpapers and fabrics for public areas and Suites

• Four Season Nile Plaza:

• First Residence: Show Apartment fully furnished with Colombo Stile,

Mantellassi, Nina Campbell and many more top brands to bring a
